Due to it's reclusive nature and loud, melodic trill, it’s more likely that you’ve HEARD this frog than it is that you’ve seen it. The Gray tree frog, given the unique scientific name of Versicolor, is an elusive, color-shifting tree frog native to the eastern United States and southeastern Canada. It is one of only two tree frogs found in New England, which was made possible only by an adaptation which allows the frog's body and blood to freeze rock solid, it’s heartbeat and breathing to stop for months, and yet continue to wake up each spring and begin searching for food like nothing ever happened.

This hoodie serves as a reminder of the Gray tree frog's presence among us here on Earth. Our planetmates - surviving, protecting, and trailblazing through the universe right along side us.
